Purpose
The application is primarily used to manage your activities in Teaching and Research.
By registering in meDme, you can simultaneously apply for a Unibas e-mail address and benefit from the associated advantages.

Procedure
Proceed as follows to register yourself in meDme:

1) Call up the login window of the application via https://medme.unibas.ch.

2) Start the self-registration by clicking on [Create account].

3) Fill in the Preliminary Registration screen and click on [Submit].

4) After successful verification of your data you will receive an e-mail to the specified address.
Click on the link in the e-mail.

5) The Assistant starts and guides you through the individual data groups.
Go through all the steps of the assistant, even if your data is up-to-date.

5) Be sure to complete the request by clicking the [SUBMIT] button.
If you do not, your request will not be submitted!

Important
Should you need a Unibas e-mail address for fullfilling your tasks in Teaching and Research, you need to asssign yourself into the "Employer" (Arbeitgeber) structure.

Your new registration account must be accepted by an authority with respective rights. Contact thehelp page to find the correct authority.

Your Unibas e-mail and password will be sent by postal mail through IT services a few days after you have gotten an e-mail that your meDme account has been approved.
